Privacy Policy

Liminal ("we") provides listing-draft automation for Shopify stores. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we never touch.

1. What we collect

• Store profile: store name, contact email, Shopify store address, and the preferences you enter at setup (sizes, usual price, quantity split, and anything you flag as "never guess").
• Shopify access: when you connect your store, Shopify gives us an access token limited to products and inventory (view and create products, set stock counts). We store this token securely and never expose it.
• Product photos: the photos you place in your shared Drive folder, used only to prepare your listings.
• Listing records: the drafts we create for you (titles, descriptions, counts) so your dashboard can show progress.
• Billing references: your PayPal subscription ID and billing status. Payments are processed entirely by PayPal — we never see or store your card details.

2. What we never collect

We do not request — and therefore cannot see — your orders, customers, payouts, discounts, or store settings. Our Shopify access is deliberately limited to products and inventory.

3. How we use your data

Only to operate the service: preparing your listing drafts, showing your dashboard, billing your subscription, and communicating about your account. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except the processors required to run the service (Shopify, PayPal, Google Drive, and our database host).

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can disconnect your store anytime in your Shopify settings — our access ends instantly. To request deletion of everything we hold about your store, email us and we will delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.

5. Security

Access tokens and credentials are stored server-side only and never exposed in pages or URLs. Your dashboard link carries a private access token — treat it like a password and don't share it.

6. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will note the new date above and, where reasonable, notify active merchants by email.
